What the link is

Every "Shop Amazon" button on this site is the named creator's own Amazon Associates link, carrying their own tracking tag. We do not add a tag of ours, we do not redirect through a tracker, and we do not append anything to the URL beyond their tag.

What it costs you

Nothing. Amazon pays a referral fee out of its own margin when a purchase arrives through an Associates link. Prices are identical whether you use one or not. Most orders arrive through no link at all, in which case the fee is never created and no one is paid.

What happens to a referral you already had

Amazon credits the last Associates link you clicked, for 24 hours. So if you clicked someone else's link earlier today and then click a button here, this one replaces it. That is Amazon's rule, not a choice we make, and it applies to every affiliate link on the internet.

We cannot see which referral you already have. That cookie belongs to amazon.com and no other website can read it. Anyone claiming to know who you are currently supporting, or to protect an existing referral, is describing something a web page cannot do.

What we never do

Nothing is added that you did not click. No pop-up, no background redirect, no invisible pixel, no software running at checkout to swap a creator's link for ours. The only way a tag is ever attached is you pressing a button with a creator's name on it.

What we store

Saved creators are kept in your own browser. There is no account and the list is never sent to us, except that opening the saved panel asks us to draw those creators, and a small cookie holds the names so this page can open on one of them instead of a random one. Clearing your browser data removes both. We set nothing else. There is no analytics and no advertising. Portraits are served from this domain rather than hotlinked, and the only request that leaves this site is the typeface, from Google Fonts.

Who gets paid

The creator shown, directly from Amazon. The commission is paid by Amazon into that creator's own Associates account. We do not touch the money and we take no cut of it.

Creators listed here participate in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program and earn from qualifying purchases. Each creator is responsible for listing this site in their own Associates account, as Amazon's operating agreement requires.
